Unlike other skills, in sculpture there is a big scope of things you need to learn about if you want to make the most of your work. Sculpting is just one part of it.
The next level is how to preserve your work by molding and casting it in a durable material. In order to get that experience, you need to learn more about the hundreds of materials to be found out there, also the procedure of making your own molds. This is usually one of the main concerns students have.
If you are looking for video tutorials, sign up to the newsletter right here on this website and you will be the first one to get news about this type of tutorial we are currently working on, to be uploaded soon. If you want a hands on workshop, check out the PDF and find all the info about new face to face workshops we are preparing here in New Zealand.
In these workshops and tutorials, we will cover some of the main materials used to mold and cast sculptures; providing you with the information you need to go ahead and source them for yourself. If you are joining us in a workshop you will be molding your own work!
Your work needs to meet the criteria explained in the PDF and needs to be submitted for approval.
